The history of Galantos
The Galantos Genetics laboratory was founded in 2004 by Professor Dr. Alfred Maelicke at the same time as Galantos Pharma, based at TZM Mainz.
At the time, Dr. Maelicke was a professor at the Institute of Physiological Chemistry and Pathobiochemistry at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.
Initially, the focus was on paternity tests and trace tests.
The employees come primarily from the fields of forensic medicine, pharmacy and biology.
